At the Snowsuit Fund warehouse I had the pleasure of dealing and chatting with 5 absolutely marvelous volunteers, who kindly registered and provided the refugee family we are sponsoring with snowsuits, hats, mitts and even sweaters. The kindness of the volunteers and their enthusiasm in helping this family out was really moving. What a wonderful organization to have serving such a pressing need in Ottawa, where our winters are long and children must be dressed warmly to learn to enjoy outdoor play over the months where the cold weather could otherwise imprison them in their homes.
The children had fun trying on and learning to enjoy their new snowsuits! Their Mom and Dad are thrilled with the warm clothing and send heartfelt thanks / shukran.
