Through donations, partnerships, and a season of signature fundraising events, The Snowsuit Fund distributes more than 17,000 snowsuits to keep children warm through Ottawa’s cold winter months.

“Every year, our city comes together to ensure that children, from low-income families, refugees, and newcomers to those facing sudden hardship, have access to something that many take for granted: a warm snowsuit. In Ottawa, a snowsuit isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity,” said Martin Masse, Chairperson of The Snowsuit Fund’s Volunteer Board of Directors. “Our staff and volunteers are the heartbeat of this organization. They are our superpower, welcoming families, fitting children, managing inventory, and sharing kindness day after day.”

One of the most anticipated events is Dinner Party in a Box, an at-home dining experience curated by Beckta featuring signature cocktails by Dunrobin Distilleries, beer by Kichesippi Beer Company, a premium bottle of wine, fresh focaccia from Nat’s Bread, as well as luxury gift items. At $350, the dinner box is a splurge but sells out every year and promises an evening of great food and heartwarming memories. Friday November 21 is your last day to order for delivery (within 25km of downtown Ottawa) or pick up from Beckta (150 Elgin Street) on Saturday November 29.
