Browns Cleaners – Making Those Snowsuits Good as New
Thank you to Browns Cleaners, our wonderful long-time supporters! Browns Cleaners’ owner, Brian MacGregor, came by the depot before Christmas to deliver lots of snowsuits to us!!
Browns Cleaners graciously accept gently used snowsuits at any Browns Cleaners location. The snowsuits are laundered, sanitized, bagged, and delivered to The Snowsuit Fund for distribution to qualified low-income clients and their family members.
School and community groups collecting on behalf of The Snowsuit Fund can deliver their bounty directly to Browns‘ MAIN PLANT (Bronson Ave.) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 am – 1 pm.
BROWNS IS COMMUNITY
Caring for the community was important to Herbert “Pops” Browns, and when he opened Browns Cleaners in 1957, he was always ready to lend a hand, particularly to the African and Caribbean immigrants arriving in Ottawa.
That tradition of helping others and working to improve the community continued when the MacGregor family bought the company in 1977. Browns Cleaners and the MacGregor family support many charities and are actively involved in several service and support organizations. Notably, Browns has been involved with the Ottawa Snowsuit Fund since its inception. Community care is part of the Browns DNA!
The Snowsuit Fund thanks you, Browns Cleaners!
